A glimpse into media coverage:
NEW SET LAUNCH:
As project manager, I led the design-to-launch of KESQ’s new FX Design Group set—featuring dual LED video walls and flexible presentation zones now used across all English-language newscasts on KESQ, KPSP, and KDFX. The upgrade elevates visuals, enables richer storytelling, and extends impact with our previous set (which I was also project manager for 12 years earlier) donated to La Quinta High School. Producer & Gaffer on Perfect:
I served as Co-Producer & Gaffer (Chief Lighting Technician) (and PSWIFT board member) on “Perfect,” the Stage 32–winning short selected by PSWIFT. Shot over two days, the rom-com showcases polished visuals on an indie timeline as our team brought Katy Dore’s script to life under co-directors Laurilie Jackson and Gina Kartsonis.

Recruiting and Mentoring:

Emmy-winning projects:
As Creative Director, I helped design, produce, and execute the field production for the Emmy award-winning series, Troubled Waters: Colorado River Crisis. In an RV, our team traced the river from its headwaters through the Southwest, combining expert voices, history, and present-day stakes to explain why allocations outpace supply—and what that means for life in the Coachella Valley.

FILM SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED:
As PSWIFT Scholarship Chair for the 2024-2025 season, I presented our annual scholarship recipient mixer on June 10, 2025, at The Classic Club in Palm Desert. Emceed by News Channel 3’s Allie Anthony, the event honored four rising storytellers—Angela Hernandez, Marisol Hernandez, Gissel Sanchez, and Claudia Martinez—and supports PSWIFT’s scholarship and mentorship programs.
