Welcome to Video Post Production!
I’m Professor Kent Kay, and I’m excited to guide you through the craft of digital video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro. In this course, you’ll explore the art, techniques, and industry standards of video editing — from storytelling and audio mixing to motion graphics and color correction. You’ll also prepare for the Adobe Certified Professional Exam, gaining skills that will serve you in professional media production.💡 Success in this class depends on consistent practice. Watching the lessons is not enough — you must practice along with the demonstrations to master the skills and pass the certification exam.

📚 Course Description

This course introduces the fundamental techniques, skills, and theories of editing digital video projects. You’ll learn:

  • Non-linear editing history and workflow

  • Technical standards (timecode, frame rates, NTSC/PAL)

  • Image composition, sound integration, and post-production processes

  • Digital formats, compression, and delivery methods

Through hands-on projects, you’ll create and edit video content, integrating graphics, animation, and sound, while applying professional industry standards.
