Intro to industry-standard digital imaging tools.
Topics include:
Image creation, editing, enhancement, and compositing
Type effects, retouching, color correction, filters
Output for web, print, and video
Workflow efficiency, automation, and design theory

Meets Photoshop 2025 specs (2GB+ VRAM recommended)
Software: Adobe Photoshop CC 2025 (disable auto-updates)
Adobe ID: Required for Creative Cloud access
External Hard Drive: 500GB+ (1TB recommended)
LinkedIn Learning Access: Confirm before class start
Certiport Account: Required for ACA certification exams
Webcam: Optional but recommended

Week 7: LinkedIn Learning Certificate Due, Midterm Exam
Week 8–11: Final Project Drafts, Image Retouching, Movie Poster
Week 12: Final Project Upload to Behance, Course Reflection, Final Exam if needed. If a student passes the midterm, they can skip the final exam. Only the highest of both grades will count.
